Fall Senior Sessions are amazing here in the PNW for a couple reasons. First, the changing color of the leaves. Second the sunsets are INSANELY beautiful and make for a gorgeous backdrop like the setting in Grace’s Senior session.

This girl is awesome, plain and simple. When we sat down for her planning session we bonded over photography and design, and I loved her very driven and confident personality! Grace plays volleyball, and we worked around her intense training schedule as her team prepared for state play-offs. I was so impressed by how well she was able to organize and time manage all that she had going on! She also has a natural eye for photography too, and it was so fun getting to talk with her about a shared passion. I was all about the cute sweaters and small-town dreams she had for her session, and Silverton was the perfect setting.

A personal touch that was added to her session were fresh Sunflowers. It added the sweetest pop of color that tied in the natural fall colors as well!

When it comes to picking a venue for a session it doesn’t really matter if the space if public or private. In this case the family had access to a really beautiful home on private property, which gave Grace’s photos so much diversity. One plus to having a venue that isn’t frequented by other’s is that you really do get one-of-a-kind images because of it. Between downtown Silverton, the private piece of property, and the hidden gem of a field found by Grace’s grandma we were able to capture so many stunning photos that blended an urban feel with nature!
